Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has left France for a working visit and to attend the Paris Peace and Security Summit in South Africa, where he is expected to attend the second Africa Summit to be held in the country.
Presidential spokesman Femi Adeshina said Buhari would attend the meeting, which will be held from November 15 to 21, organized by AFREXIM Bank in collaboration with the African Union and the African Free Trade Agreement (AFCFTA).
The theme of this year's event is,
"Working for Common Business in Africa", which is expected to boost trade and investment among African countries, while Adeshina said the conference was an attempt to create a conducive environment for trade and investment in Africa as a whole.
A spokesman for the Nigerian government said the fair was expected to facilitate global trade and open the door to investment of at least $ 40 billion.
Adeshina said Nigerian investors had already arrived in Durban to benefit from the summit, which will be attended by President Muhammadu Buhari along with his Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Industry and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo and the Chairman of the Export Commission. controlled in Nigeria Segun Awolowo.
The statement said Buhari would return to Nigeria on November 16, a day after the opening of the summit.
