National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has begun training 50 people on entrepreneurship and financial counselling in Sokoto on Monday 7th March, 2022, to enable them contribute to national development. Director-General of NDE, Mr Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, represented by the Sokoto State Coordinator, Mrs Eunice J. Danmallam, said this at the opening of the five-day training held at Shamsuddeen Plaza Sokoto. According to her the training would enable unemployed graduates of tertiary institutions to become self-reliant through the vehicle of entrepreneurship. She said that the goal of the training was to unleash the potentials of the participants and they will be sensitized on the realities of the Nigerian labour market and trained on the types of businesses that fit their interests, skills and competencies.
